No Brand Con 2007 :: Events :: Art Contest/Auction
Submitting:
1. Art should have an anime, manga, gaming, sci-fi, or fantasy theme of some sort.
2. No Brand Con reserves the right to refuse any works if they are not considered appropriate for display.
3. Label the artist's name and email address clearly on the back. We need to know what art belongs to whom!
4. Submitted art should be matted or protected somehow to prevent damage.
5. 3D art (garage kits, homemade plushies, pottery, etc.) is acceptable, but remember to attach your name and address!
6. It's best to submit your art at Korea on Friday. You can submit to the Art Auction anytime before the contest ends on Sunday, but the earlier you submit, the more attendees will see it to vote on it!
7. If you also wish to submit your piece to the Sunday Art Auction, please fill out an Art Auction Submission Form (see Art Auction Rules)
Voting:
1. Congoers vote on submitted art at the display at Korea!
2. Your vote is special, so when you receive your ballot, staff will put a nifty stamp on your badge so you can prove you voted.
3. Write the submission number of your favorite piece on a ballot (will be provided) and put it in the ballot box.
4. Staff will tally the votes, announce the winners of the contest, and award prizes on Sunday before the Auction closes.
Prizes:
1. Only artists who are present when the prizes are being distributed will receive their prize.
2. If the winner of a prize isn't present, the prize will be given to the runner up!

Submission:
Art Contest Submission Rules also apply to the Art Auction.
1. Fill out an Art Auction Submission Form at the Con. The name of the piece, bid starting price, and description go on the front, and don't forget your own name and email address on the back!
2. 25% of the profit from your auctioned art goes to the charity(s) that No Brand Con supports. In previous years, we needed this percentage to help cover No Brand Con’s expenses, but now we decided it should go to a better cause! Feel the glow that comes from helping out others.
3. You will receive your money shortly after the auction.
Bidding:
1. Please make only serious bids!
2. Bid at least the Bid Starting Price, or $0.25 more than the previous person.
3. Be sure to include your name and email address in the indicated columns.
4. Show up when the auction ends on Sunday!!! The specific time will be displayed in Korea during the convention. (usually between 10 am and 2 pm) If the winning bidder doesn't show up, the next highest bidder will be able to buy the art.
5. You must pay for the art with cash. (IOUs and such will not be accepted)
