Cosplay rules and Guidelines time again! We’ve made these as short and sweet as possible, so everyone will have fewer headaches this year. Follow these rules and we won't be forced to kill anyone this year. ‘Kay?

1) Registration for cosplay will be held at the main registration desk and runs from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, and from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday. Registration will not be taken after 4pm.
2) You can sign up as either a group, or as individual. All group entries will be judged on an individual basis however.
3) No real weapons (live steal, real gun, etc) or extremely realistic models. Clearly Fake weapons that don’t work, or are marked as fake are okay.
4) Costume must be appropriate for a public setting.
5)a. There will be two categories of costumes that are eligible: Anime and manga; and Video Game/Other.
b.There are two levels of Cosplay: Basic and Advanced. Basic is intended for beginners and novice cosplayers. Advanced is for more experienced cosplayers. If your costume is commissioned (You payed someone to make it for you) you must compete at the advanced level. Otherwise, you may choose what level to compete at. However, No Brand Con Staff has final say in the matter. If we think that your costume is exceptionally good, then we will bump you up to advanced. Think of it as a compliment.
6) Please stay on stage until dismissed by the MCs. The judges need to get a good look at your costume in order to judge you.
7) When you get on stage, you can do a little turn, say a catchphrase, strike a pose, etc. If you would like to do a skit, please keep it under a minute. Preferably, we’d rather you do your skit at the Variety Show, held on Sunday.
8) All contestants are required to meet in the room cosplay will be held in one hour before show time (6 PM). Late people may be disqualified.
