Sorry about the lack of updates over the Summer! With the new school year approaching and a slough of new Fall conventions and events soon upon us, you’ll be seeing far more frequent updates in the months ahead as we count down to NoBrandCon X!
The big announcement we have today is that we’re heading to Geekkon at the Madison Marriot West in Madison, WI on September 3-5, 2010!
The news gets even better!
Preregistration for NoBrandCon X will be up and running soon, but for those of you who can’t wait, we have a special that will be running during our room parties on Friday and Saturday nights only at Geekkon! We’re going to be offering early-bird preregistration for NoBrandCon X next April for a mere $25! That’s right, the entire weekend of NoBrandCon X at our brand new convention space for just $25!
So if you’re planning on attending Geekkon next weekend in Madison, be sure you stop by our room party on either Friday or Saturday night and take advantage of what will be our lowest preregistration price!

Only about 7 weeks remain until the start of NoBrandCon 9! This upcoming weekend, several staffers will be heading down to Anime Milwaukee 3.5 to volunteer and have some fun before crunch time hits as we get ready for NoBrandCon at the end of April.
Also, we’d like to officially announce our Art and Music guests for this years con!
Due to popular demand and a lot of requests, Michael “Mookie” Terracciano will be coming back for a second year as our official art guest. Mookie is a web comic artist most well known for his web comic Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire.
For our rock show on Friday night, Dr. Cancer and the SKAmbies based out of Stevens Point will be performing as well as some of our own in house groups, so be sure to check them out if you get a chance!
Finally, just as a reminder for all our prospective attendees, the Ramada currently is full. For information on our overflow hotels, click here.

We’re opening up Korea! And by Korea, we mean our Artist Alley (as we all know that’s where everything gets drawn in this industry anyway). Well, actually, it’s been open for a little while, but we forgot to tell you about it. Yes, we kind of feel bad about that — but we’re telling you now! You can find the information on our Artist Alley page.
Did you miss us at Geek.kon this year? Well worry not! The No Brand Con express is going to yet another convention! This weekend we’ll be a Daisho Con in Stevens Point, WI! We had a great time there last year, so we decided to go again!
We’ll be running one of our signature room parties at Daisho Con, so be sure to look around the con space for information about it (including where it is, when it starts, and how many extra hats you should have on).
