So, while our website is still in flux (and not everything is up yet), we’ve added quite a bit of handy information this weekend for your enjoyment.

Make sure you poke around, but if you visit the attendee and vendor pages you’ll find some new information that wasn’t there before, along with printable, mail-in versions of our registration forms (which we know some of you were patiently waiting for). On the Attendee page you’ll also find a link to the documentation on Sponsoring No Brand Con (PDF).

We’re pleased to announce that both attendee and vendor registration is open for No Brand Con 2008, our seventh convention. Preregistering has many benefits, including saving a little cash ($30 for a weekend pass instead of $35, along with a discounted T-Shirt Cost) and the option to sign up for our annual Sunday Brunch with the Guests.

And vendors, remember that our Vendor room space can run out, so be sure to register as soon as possible!

NoBrandCon 2007 wrapped up yesterday evening, closing what may be the best NoBrandCon yet! We’re sure a bunch of you are coming to the site for the first time - so why not check out our forums while you’re here? It will give you a chance to talk to your fellow congoers and talk about your favorite parts of this year’s con!

We reached a record attendance again (905 attendees at last count), making 2007 our biggest year to date, and we hope you all join us next year for NoBrandCon 7 in 2008!

For some reason, someone tried to hide this video from us, as it’s a couple of weeks old. In an attempt to show you how much work you’d never expect goes into NoBrandCon, we thought we’d let you into one of our more obscure committees. So, check out the infamous NoBrandCon Science Committee!

No Brand Con is only a few days away.

To make your experience easier, we’re releasing a simple schedule so you can plan your No Brand Experience. Of course, our official program guide (which you’ll receive at the convention) will have more information than this, but we figured this would get you started.

You guys rock — we had a record-breaking pre-registration period, ending with over 300 people signed up for the con! To put that into perspective, that’s twice the pre-regs and half the total attendance for 2006. 2007 will be nothing short of amazing.

We start sending out confirmation letters this week, so keep an eye on your mailbox. If for some reason you don’t get yours before you leave for the con, just make sure you have a photo ID handy — we have everyone in our system, so either way it won’t take you long to get in the doors.

Due to some webhost difficulties, we’re extending the registration deadline one more week! You now have until Friday, March 30th to pre-register for No Brand Con 2007! One more week, isn’t that exciting? If you’ve been having trouble at all getting the online registration (or the site in general) to work, fear not! If your frustration has lead to to think you were going to miss it entirely, there’s always the printable form available on the site as well.

While online registration will close on the 30th at midnight (technically the 31st, I suppose), you only have to have your mail-in registrations postmarked by that time. So as long as you get your letter to your mail carrier or post office before 5pm (earlier in some places), you should be good to go. We’ll be waiting for them to all come in, and we’ll be sending out confirmation letters as fast as we can get ‘em!

Note: this extension DOES NOT INCLUDE deadlines for No Brand Comic, Panel submissions, the AMV contest, or any other area of convention participation with a deadline — these items are still due tomorrow, March 23rd. Again, any mail-in items only need be postmarked by that date.

Also, in case you missed it, No Brand Alumn Tiffany Grant will be joining us once again for her fourth year! It’s a neck-n-neck tie between her and Joe!

Remember if you pre-register you save $5 compared to at the door, special pricing on purchasing a No Brand Con T-Shirt, and you also get a free copy of the No Brand Comic! Only 5 weeks until No Brand Con, woo~

Hey folks, the crazy No Brand Heroes are at it again, and are invading another convention for a good old fashioned OAAH! Room party.

This weekend we’ll be showing up at MarsCon, in Bloomington, MN. Our party is on the Saturday night of the convention (March 3rd), so look out for us. Rumor has it that the Gardening Ninja himself may be walking around as well… with or without his rake depending on what time of the day it is. So, stop on by our room on the 13th floor, say hello, and have a great time.

Or don’t. It’s really up to you.
