No Brand Con has wrapped up for yet another year, and was bigger than ever with an attendance of 1075! We’d like to thank everyone who came and made this the best No Brand Con yet.

For those of you who are still looking for a room last minute, you may have noticed that the official Hotel has been full for a while, as is our primary backup hotel. Because of that, we’ve set up another backup hotel. It’s a bit away from the convention center, so you’ll need to drive down to the con from there, but it’s easy to find from the freeway.

Hey folks, it’s April 1st, and that means (besides the fact that you should check your chairs for whoopee cushions) that No Brand Con preregistration has closed. The final count isn’t in yet (as we still need to tabulate our mail in registrations) but early results show that we’ve beaten last years prereg count quite handily.

We think that’s pretty neat.

Confirmation letters will be going out at the end of the week, so make sure you check your mail.

Just to remind you, that if you missed the chance to preregister, that you can still attend No Brand Con (albeit for a slightly higher price) - so don’t let having forgotten to preregister keep you from attending. We still would love to see you there.

And remember, Preregistration closes at 11:59pm Central on March 31st — so if you want the reduced rate for registration, make sure you get that in quickly!

I know you’ve probably been scrambling to preregister to make it by the March 21st Deadline — but fear not! We’ve decided to extend No Brand Con preregistration until March 31st!

That’s right, you have a whole extra ten days to preregister for No Brand Con 2008!

Don’t wait much longer though, because the 31st is coming up pretty quickly too.

We’re proud to announce that all space in the No Brand Con 007 vendor room has been filled! That’s the fastest we’ve ever filled up the space. We’ll have a list of confirmed vendors up as soon as we can.

We’ve also uploaded information on our Artist’s Alley — which you can find online here.

For some reason, someone tried to hide this video from us, as it’s a couple of weeks old. In an attempt to show you how much work you’d never expect goes into NoBrandCon, we thought we’d let you into one of our more obscure committees. So, check out the infamous NoBrandCon Science Committee!

Are you excited yet?

You guys rock — we had a record-breaking pre-registration period, ending with over 300 people signed up for the con! To put that into perspective, that’s twice the pre-regs and half the total attendance for 2006. 2007 will be nothing short of amazing.

We start sending out confirmation letters this week, so keep an eye on your mailbox. If for some reason you don’t get yours before you leave for the con, just make sure you have a photo ID handy — we have everyone in our system, so either way it won’t take you long to get in the doors.

Due to some webhost difficulties, we’re extending the registration deadline one more week! You now have until Friday, March 30th to pre-register for No Brand Con 2007! One more week, isn’t that exciting? If you’ve been having trouble at all getting the online registration (or the site in general) to work, fear not! If your frustration has lead to to think you were going to miss it entirely, there’s always the printable form available on the site as well.

While online registration will close on the 30th at midnight (technically the 31st, I suppose), you only have to have your mail-in registrations postmarked by that time. So as long as you get your letter to your mail carrier or post office before 5pm (earlier in some places), you should be good to go. We’ll be waiting for them to all come in, and we’ll be sending out confirmation letters as fast as we can get ‘em!

Note: this extension DOES NOT INCLUDE deadlines for No Brand Comic, Panel submissions, the AMV contest, or any other area of convention participation with a deadline — these items are still due tomorrow, March 23rd. Again, any mail-in items only need be postmarked by that date.

Also, in case you missed it, No Brand Alumn Tiffany Grant will be joining us once again for her fourth year! It’s a neck-n-neck tie between her and Joe!
