No Brand Con 7 :: April 18th-20th 2008       at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Eau Claire, WI

Location and Hotel For another year, No Brand Con returns to the Ramada Convention Center in downtown Eau Claire, WI. Ramada Inn 205 South barstow Street Eau Claire, WI 54701 Tel: (715) 835-6121 15 rooms are reserved for early No Brand Con attendees on Thursday (Apr 17). 70 rooms are reserved for No Brand Con attendees on Friday (Apr 18 ) & Saturday (Apr 19). These reserved blocks will be released one month before the con (Mar 18, 2008) to the general public. Any rooms without reservations by No Brand Con people become available to ANYBODY on that date. So make reservations BEFORE that one month cutoff, please. Check-in is 3pm (Please let them know if you will be arriving later) and check-out is Noon. When you make reservations, please let them know you are with No Brand Con and if you are going to have a room party. They will attempt to place room parties together where possible. PLEASE, do not take your party into the hallways! Rates: There are 123 rooms at the Ramada 78 rooms with two Double size Beds: $104 + 12.5% tax 28 rooms with one King size Bed: $92 + 12.5% tax 14 rooms with one Single size Bed: $85 + 12.5% tax (aka Economy) 3 rooms with Hot Tubs: 810, 812 (Smoking allowed), 610 (No Smoking) They have one King size bed and regular rates apply! The 8th (top) floor is their only floor with Smoking Allowed guest rooms. The 2nd floor has a swimming pool (as well as an arcade) with access by room key. Parking: Hotel Guests park free in Parking Ramp on Thursday and Friday. Everybody parks free in Parking Ramp on Saturday & Sunday. Parking Ramp is accessible from each level of the hotel up to the 5th Floor near the elevators. There is another stairway near the Civic Center's east entrance (Southeast end of the ramp). There is additional parking elsewhere around the hotel, but it's either metered or limited to 2 hrs before 5pm weekdays. After 5pm and all day on weekends are free. Caution: There is a height limit in general (6'10") and a sharp right turn on the exit for the Parking Ramp that causes trouble for large or long vehicles. If you think your vehicle may fit the description above or you have trouble knowing where the sides of your vehicles are, consider parking off the ramp until you have looked at the exit.
